Overview:

This module covers the fundamentals of installing and configuring Windows 8 at enterprise level deployments. The course teaches professionals to configure hardware and applications including device drivers, desktop applications, Windows Store applications, Internet Explorer and Hyper-V. It also incorporates configuring network connectivity which includes IP settings, network security and remote management. Some other topics covered in this exam are: Configuring Resource Access, Monitoring and Maintaining Windows Clients, and Configuring Backup and Recovery.

  • Networking fundamentals, including Transmission Control Protocol /Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), User Datagram Protocol (UDP), and Domain Name System (DNS)
